The Chocolate Museum Zagreb<\/span><\/span> announces a Call for Applications for the award of donations for the year 2026.<\/strong><\/h4>\nThis Call for Applications for the award of donations in 2026 (hereinafter: the Call) governs the donation procedure for the company Svijet \u010dokolade d.o.o.<\/span><\/span> (hereinafter: the Company) for projects in 2026.<\/p>\nWithin the framework of this Call, the Company donates services it provides. Eligible applicants include:<\/p>\n
\n- Civil society organizations: associations, foundations, artistic organizations, and private non-profit institutions based in the Republic of Croatia, whose activities are aimed at the general welfare and improving the quality of life in the community, and which require financial support to implement projects within the defined program areas;<\/li>\n
- Institutions based in the Republic of Croatia (e.g., hospitals, schools, kindergartens, universities) not covered in the first category but eligible under the terms of the Call;<\/li>\n
- Entities that have the legal, financial, and operational capacity to implement the project;<\/li>\n
- Entities whose bank accounts are not blocked;<\/li>\n
- Entities against which no criminal proceedings are being conducted;<\/li>\n
- Entities registered to perform activities relevant to the subject of funding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Donations cannot be granted to natural persons.<\/strong><\/p>\nThe total donation fund consists of 240 tickets for the Chocolate Museum Zagreb. The fund will be distributed among a maximum of 12 applicants.<\/p>\n
\nEligible Areas for Donations<\/strong><\/h4>\nDonations may be awarded in the following areas:<\/p>\n
\n- Children and youth<\/strong> \u2013 educational projects\/programs; cultural and artistic activities for and by children and youth; prevention of all forms of addiction among children and youth; creative activities; organization of extracurricular and out-of-school activities; improving educational conditions;<\/li>\n
- Humanitarian projects<\/strong> \u2013 programs and activities benefiting the elderly, the sick, the poor, and vulnerable persons, including persons with disabilities; health protection and promotion; child and youth safety; prevention of violence among children and youth; educational work with children and youth with special needs;<\/li>\n
- Culture and arts<\/strong> \u2013 support for talented artists; preservation of national and local cultural heritage; music, performing, and visual arts activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
\nSelection Criteria<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n- Quality of the project proposal and its contribution to achieving the Company\u2019s objectives;<\/li>\n
- Contribution of the project to the overall development of the community;<\/li>\n
- Quality of other submitted projects;<\/li>\n
- The project must fully relate to the period up to May 2027, and all tickets must be used by April 30, 2027;<\/li>\n
- The project must relate to the Republic of Croatia;<\/li>\n
- The financial and health status of the applicant or the persons (members of the association or organization) on whose behalf the application is submitted;<\/li>\n
- Compliance with anti-discrimination and anti-corruption principles, as well as business ethics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
\nDonation Procedure<\/strong><\/h4>\nApplications open on March 27, 2026, upon publication of the Call on the Company\u2019s website www.muzejcokolade.hr<\/a>, and close on April 27, 2026, at midnight. The selected recipients will be announced no later than May 27, 2026, on the same website.<\/p>\n
\nApplication Requirements<\/strong><\/h4>\nThe application must include:<\/p>\n
\n- A completed donation application form<\/a> (available at the provided link<\/strong><\/a>), including applicant details, project description, and the estimated number of tickets requested;<\/li>\n
- A copy of the extract from the Register of Associations (for associations) and the Register of Non-Profit Organizations;<\/li>\n
- A certificate from the competent court, not older than three months, confirming that no criminal proceedings are being conducted against the person authorized to represent the applicant;<\/li>\n
- A statement confirming that the project does not infringe upon third-party copyright.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
\nSubmission of Applications<\/strong><\/h4>\nApplications must be submitted within the deadline specified in the Call to the Company\u2019s email address info@svijetcokolade.hr<\/a> and must include all required documentation; otherwise, they will not be considered.<\/p>\nAll prescribed forms and documents must be signed by the authorized representative of the applicant and stamped with the official seal.<\/p>\n
The Company shall not be liable for any damage resulting from disruptions in electronic communication, email, or application systems.<\/p>\n
All submitted documentation shall be treated as confidential and will not be made available to third parties. Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.<\/p>\n
If an application is not accepted, the Company is not obliged to provide an explanation. The Company is not obliged to award donations or justify its decisions.<\/p>\n
By submitting documents, the applicant assumes full responsibility for the accuracy of the provided information and acknowledges that false information may result in rejection.<\/p>\n
The Company assumes no responsibility for donation recipients during travel to and from the Chocolate Museum Zagreb. Participation in travel is at the recipient\u2019s own risk, and the recipient is responsible for ensuring appropriate transport, safety, and insurance.<\/p>\n
\nPersonal Data Protection<\/strong><\/h4>\nPersonal data processing within the donation procedure is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016\/679 (General Data Protection Regulation), the Croatian Act on the Implementation of the GDPR (OG 42\/2018), and other applicable regulations. \nDispute Resolution<\/strong><\/h4>\nIn the event of a dispute between the Company and the applicant, the competent court shall be the Municipal Civil Court in Zagreb. The Company has the exclusive authority to interpret the provisions of this Call.<\/p>\n
