This year\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>Long Night of Museums<\/strong><\/a>, was held on\u00a0<\/span>January 28th, 2022<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>in conditions similar to last years. This meant in circumstances where cultural institutions needed to adapt to a new reality, when a significant part of the program had to take place in controlled conditions with adjusted content.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In order to avoid creating crowds, the\u00a0<\/span>Chocolate Museum Zagreb<\/strong><\/a> prepared an amplitude of digital content for its online visitors.\u00a0Unfortunately, there was no live<\/strong>\u00a0guided tour through the Museum<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>this year either, but everyone who wanted to get acquainted with the exhibition of the\u00a0<\/span>Chocolate Museum Zagreb<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>could join the\u00a0<\/span>virtual guide via link<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In the context of increased attention to the sustainability and impact of industrial chocolate production on the ecosystem and socio-economic issues plaguing cacao producers, a video panel titled \u201cWhat is craft bean-to-bar chocolate and why is the production of such chocolate important today?\u201d <\/a><\/b><\/span>was prepared. The guests of the panel were\u00a0<\/b><\/span>Sanja Vladovi\u0107<\/strong>, a certified chocolate taster and\u00a0<\/span>Stiv Kahlina<\/strong>, a chocolate maker and chocolatier.<\/div>\n

<\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<h3><b><i><span lang=\"EN-US\">ONLINE \u2013 DISCOVER THE HISTORY OF INDUSTRIAL CHOCOLATE PRODUCTION IN CROATIA<\/span><\/i><\/b><i><\/i><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">The curator of the Chocolate Museum Zagreb, Mr. Marko \u0160panjol\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">held a presentation in the exhibition on <b><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/MdTIkJ4igbU\">\u201cHistory of industrial chocolate production in Croatia\u201d<\/a><\/b> in which he reminded the audience of factories that created the first offer of chocolate in this area. Like<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>Rije\u010dka tvornica kakaa i \u010dokolade<\/strong><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>(Rijeka cacao and chocolate factory) from the end of the 19th century, which was the first plant for the industrial production of chocolate in Croatia.
