Create your Own Chocolate and Pralines in the Workshop “Sweet Secrets of Chocolate Crafting”
Pralines, or chocolate candies, are often considered the pinnacle of chocolate making. Learn how to make your own pralines in the workshop “Sweet secrets of chocolate crafting” with chocolatiers of the Chocolate Museum Zagreb. How to melt chocolate, temper it properly, make praline shells, choose the right sprinkle, work with the filling, get a chocolate bar from the couverture… Discover the little secrets of great chocolate makers and the icing will always turn out great.
While you are waiting for your chocolate creations to harden, you will have a chance to explore the Museum by yourself. Of course, including a tasting of nine types of chocolate, information on how to make chocolate and a walk through the history of chocolate.

What can You Expect from the Workshop?
The practical part of the workshop deals with the following topics:
- how to make chocolate
- proper tempering and cooling of chocolate
- making chocolate bars
- making shells for pralines
- filling and closing pralines

The workshop is made for one to two participants. The price is the same, regardless of the number of participants.
Price:
76.00 EUR per workshop (the price includes the entrance fee to the Museum with tasting and participation in the workshop “Sweet secrets of chocolate crafting”). The price is based on one workshop with up to two participants. The price is the same regardless of the number of participants (one or two).

Required Prior Knowledge:
Workshop participants do not have to have previous culinary experience. The workshop is intended for complete beginners and anyone who wants to learn where to start when they feel interested in chocolate and its use in the kitchen. Protective clothing and all necessary materials and tools are provided.
The minimum age of participants is 12 years.
Reservations:
Reservation of a place at the workshop is mandatory. You can make a reservation by sending an e-mail to info@muzejcokolade.hr.
Payment:
Payment of the registration fee is mandatory no later than 48 hours after booking of the workshop. Proof of payment is the only confirmation of the reservation. Arrival can be canceled latest 24 hours before the start of the workshop in which case we will offer you and an alternative timing which will suit you.
Cancellations of unused workshops will not be refunded.
Payment is Possible in Two Ways:
1. to the bank account of Svijet čokolade d.o.o. IBAN HR6723400091110988620 at Privredna banka Zagreb d.d. with a description of the payment “Workshop for Name and Surname”.
2. in person at the entrance of the Chocolate Museum Zagreb, Varšavska 5, Zagreb, within the opening hours of the Museum. For information about working hours for specific days kindly e-mail us at info@muzejcokolade.hr. You can pay with cash and cards.
The workshop is led by the employees of the Chocolate Museum, it is done in small groups so that each participant has the opportunity to try to perform each of the phases of the workshop. The facilitators cater to each participant individually and assist as needed.
